AMAREA Technology develops industrial Multi-Material 3D printing systems for functional, electronic and sensor-integrated components. Our software controls, measures, analyzes and visualizes complex manufacturing processes – it is a core product component, not an add-on.

We are looking for a C++ developer who thinks in architecture, writes robust code and wants to build software that runs on real machines.

Your Responsibilities

  • Development and maintenance of complex C++ software
  • Design and implementation of Qt-based applications under Linux
  • Architectural design and technical decision-making
  • Refactoring and further development of existing systems
  • Close collaboration with hardware, process and application teams
  • Evaluation of technical requirements and delivery of feasible solutions
  • Optional: technical guidance for junior team members

Your Profile

  • Strong C++ expertise
  • Experience with Qt and Linux (Debian)
  • Focus on code quality, testing and maintainability
  • Familiarity with Git/GitLab and structured development workflows
  • Ability to design and explain architectural decisions
  • Degree in computer science, engineering or comparable experience

Nice to have:

  • Experience with VTK, OpenCV, 3D geometry or image processing
  • Experience in industrial or machine-related software environments
